The 2026 Tamarack Board Election has closed.

Here are notes and results:

The villas meeting was first. Tom Jarvis announced that Villas dues were increasing by 10%, but Jeff had recommended that it be offset by a nearly-equivalent Tamarack dues decrease. Thanks to Jeff, their dues would stay about the same.

Single-family homeowners were denied entry, except for Jeff Rudolph. He was up front helping run the meeting.

At least 1 single-family homeowner was allowed in as proxy for a Villa homeowner.

Next was the Tamarack meeting. Everyone filed in, and the meeting started.

The board announced Jeff's recommendation for a decrease in dues, listed a bunch of weird statistics, Jacquie reported all of the board’s “accomplishments,” and votes were collected.

Stephen was denied the opportunity to speak before votes were cast.

Election results:

Jeff Rudolph:
94
Stephen Warner:
70

This was a close election. If 13 out of 164 voters had voted differently, the outcome would have been different.

Leading up to the election:

Absentee voters received emails 2 days before the meeting that their votes were rejected. They were instructed to fill out a proxy form, and it was not made 100% clear that a blank proxy would not submit their absentee vote; it would transfer their voting discretion to Jacquie Farr.

29 hours before the election, the board made their first announcement about this and said they would “correct it in 2027.” Stephen and other homeowners asked for a postponed election. They refused.

Questions that have been raised:

  • How many absentee voters were unable to get votes in?
  • How many absentee voters mistakenly signed a blank proxy giving their vote to Jacquie Farr?
  • How many blank proxies in the villas did Tom Jarvis collect while the board tried to deter proxy voting in their public announcements?
  • How many Villa votes were influenced by Jeff’s recommendation to lower Tamarack HOA dues to offset the Villas 10% increase?
  • How many votes were influenced by the board’s false claim that they were in “ongoing litigation” with Stephen?
  • How many voters might have changed their vote if they actually had the opportunity to hear Stephen speak before voting?
